Coroner's Office Releases Ryan Dunn Autopsy Information

The Chester County Coroner’s office in Pennsylvania is releasing some of the autopsy information found in the death of Ryan Dunn and his passenger.

According to the Coroner’s Office, both died as a result of blunt force trauma as well as the fire that consumed the vehicle during the crash on Monday morning.

The results detail that the crash was so violent, it is unclear whether the two died from the impact of the crash or from the resulting fire.

The toxicology results will help to determine whether the men were drinking while driving before the accident, and the results will be released in 4 to 6 weeks. Investigators believe that speed was a factor in the crash.

Dunn’s Jackass costar Steve-O, who is usually all smiles and pranks, somberly tweeted about the death: “I don’t know what to say, except I love Ryan Dunn and I’m really going to miss him."

A slue of other friends and costars responded to Ryan’s death, but his longtime friend, Bam Margera has yet to respond publically. His mother, April Margera, was the one who originally confirmed the news to the media. She said, “I felt like I lost one of my own sons.”
