Ryan Alexander Jenkins fled to Canada after being named a suspect in the murder of Fiore, and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
U.S. Marshal Thomas J. Hession said during a press conference held today that "there will be no stone unturned," adding, "Anybody who assists or helps him in any way will be charged for aiding a felon."
Although he confirmed that a Black BMW, thought to be Jenkins, was found near the border, "We have not confirmed that he's in Canada, and until we can confirm that, we cannot go into further details."
Lieutenant Steve Holiday confirmed that
Jasmine's body was mutilated and her fingers and teeth were removed, which brought Fiore's family members to tears.
Fiore's mother, who was visibly upset, wouldn't talk about her daughter, so her former boyfriend Robert Hasman spoke during the conference on behalf of her family. He asked that friends and family members of Jenkin's not assist him and rather help authorities bring him to justice.
TMZ obtained the murder complaint against Ryan Jenkins. It reads: "Count 1: On or about August 14, 2009, in violation of Section 187(a) of the Penal Code (MURDER), a FELONY, RYAN ALEXANDER JENKINS did unlawfully and with malice aforethought kill JASMINE FIORE, a human being."
The complaint demands that Jenkins provides DNA samples, thumb and palm prints. It's still unclear whether he'll be charged with 1st or 2nd degree murder, but the bail recommendation is currently at $10 million.
Back in June, Jenkins was charged with a misdemeanor count of "battery constituting domestic violence" for hitting Fiore in the arm. He's due in court in December, but it looks like he has bigger problems on his plate now.
