Russell Crowe To Replace Heath Ledger In Film

Prior to Heath Ledger’s death, he was scheduled to star in Aussie director Phillip Noyce’s movie Dirt Music. But since his death in January, the film has been put on hold to find a new star.

According to Movehole.net, Russell Crowe is their new leading man. The film is an adaptation of Tim Winton’s novel about a couple in a loveless relationship, set in a remote Australian town.

Also signed on for the film are Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz.
