Russell Crowe To Donate His Ponytail

Russell Crowe is pushing his bad boy image aside and doing some good. He’s decided to donate his ponytail to Locks of Love, an organization that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer.

A source tells Star, "Russell has grown attached to the hair, but he's excited to help.”

He has to wait until his hair reaches the 10-inch minimum length in order to donate it. Russell originally grew out his hair for his role in Robin Hood which he’s shooting right now. What a nice gesture for him to donate the hair! We’re sure his publicist thought of that one….Russell’s not exactly known as the nicest guy in the world!
