We’ve just learned Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks were involved in a car accident.

The two were in Pennsylvania shooting the movie The Next Three Days and were doing a scene that required them to be in a van.

According to ET, Russell and Elizabeth were in the parked van when a firetruck hit them! The truck was reportedly pulling out of the Deutschtown Fire Station Wednesday afternoon when it hit the front end of the van.

Luckily nobody was hurt in the collision. Crowe and Banks both emerged from the van unscathed. A worker at a local bar said everyone was laughing about it, and that Crowe waved back at her when she waved at him.

Greiner said one firefighter called the incident rather embarrassing. We can imagine those trucks are pretty hard to maneuver!
