Russell Brand To Play Lead In Rocky Horror Picture Show

We totally saw this coming. Russell Brand is huge across the pond, but was relatively unknown in the States until his role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Now, not only is he hosting the VMAs, he's also expected to take the lead role of Frank N. Furter in the upcoming remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The role was originally played by Tim Curry in 1975 alongside Susan Sarandon and Meat Loaf. And Brand is reportedly excited to take on the coveted role. We think he's a great choice for Frank N. Furter! What are your thoughts?
