One of the films up for the prestigious fan-chosen award is the iconic Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
The film arrived in theaters in the summer of 2011 to record breaking box office numbers. Deathly Hallows, Part 2 capped the eight-part film series based on the beloved novels of J.K. Rowling.
“I still love her as a human being,” Russell tells Ellen Degeneres in his Thursday appearance on her show, “But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it? But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything.”

Comedian Russell Brand is the confirmed face of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Hide the kids, the senior citizens, and the frail-hearted individuals. With Brand on board, this year’s ceremony promises to be crude, rude, and probably a little weird.
“MTV Movie Awards incorporates two of my favorite things. Movies and Awards. If somehow group sex could be involved it would be the greatest night of my life," Brand said in a statement.
Russell then tells the audience. “Who keeps shouting? Let's turn the lights on and have a look at them! Let us see how your mental illness looks like in the daylight!”
Brand then descends into the audience and reams the first culprit for a good four minutes. Here's a sampling of some of the “safe for work” moments that he yelled at the guy.

The comedian made an appearance Tuesday in front of the Home Affairs Committee of England’s legislative body, currently re-examining their drug policy.
“There needs to be love and compassion,” Brand told members of Parliament.
Brand was vibrant and passionate in a black tank top in a room full of suits.

Katy Perry is rumored to be dating model Baptiste Giabiconi, and while he’s shooting down rumors that they’re a couple, he’s not doing much else to convince us otherwise.
