Rumer Willis to Play Lesbian on 90210

Rumer Willis is headed back to Beverly Hills again. According to EW, she’s slated to guest star on 90210. And we hear they may be trying out a controversial story line to shake things up. Hey, it worked for Gossip Girl.

But rather than threesomes, 90210 will be introducing a major same-sex relationship between one of the main characters and Miss Willis, who will play the part of Gia.

“This isn’t a fling,” insists executive producer Rebecca Sinclair. “We’re coming at this from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’ This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting… And there’s been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”

The lucky woman is none other than Adrianna, played by Jessica Lowndes. Expect the scandalous storyline to surface in January.
