Rumer Willis knows a thing or two about growing up in the spotlight, so when she hears about friends going off the deep end, she can't help but feel sorry for them.
Rumer, whose parents are
Demi Moore and
Bruce Willis, admits it's really hard for young stars to not get sucked into the Hollywood lifestyle.
“I do feel very sorry for
Mischa Barton,” Rumer told Glamour magazine. “This whole world is very enticing.
“When you start getting famous it’s exciting. But I’ve grown up having to deal with what’s real and what’s not and I just don’t care about that type of thing. I have better things to do.
“I think it’s important that the only people you have in your life are people who support you and are positive.”
It's pretty rare for a celebrity offspring to turn out as normal as Rumer Willis. At 21 she's already witnessed friends and acquaintances go in and out of rehab and most of them still can't battle their demons. Looks like Demi and Bruce did a great job with Rumer.
