From Miley to Rumer: Kids Who Got Famous Thanks to Their Famous Parents

There are several ways to make it in Hollywood. Be talented (eh, probably wont get you far), sleep with someone who’s very important (how much “Entourage” do you watch?) or have famous parents (Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner!)

These are the kids who got acting roles (probably only) because their parents are famous.

Jaden and Willow Smith: The world was first introduced to Jaden Smith in 2006 playing Will Smith’s onscreen son in "The Pursuit of Happyness." And at only 8 years old at the time I dare you to find a talking baby or puppy youtube video cuter than Jaden Smith. Then last year we all were whipping our hair because the Pinkett-Smith clan had given us 10 year old Willow Smith, who has more fierceness in her pintsized weave than most women 3x her age. Jada and Will could really take an early retirement and let their kids do all the work from here on out.

Ava Sambora: Ava Sambora is the 13 year-old daughter of actress Heather Locklear and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. She makes her film debut in Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy “This is Forty.” She will appear opposite Apatow’s own daughter Maude Apatow who I’m going to mention in just a second.

Maude and Iris Apatow: Although these girls may not be mega stars just yet, their dad Judd Apatow has been pimping them out in his films since “Knocked Up.” Since Apatow is responsible for 95% of every R-Rated comedy, expect to see more from these girls, especially now that Maude has finally outgrown her awkward braces teeth phase.

Zoe Kravitz: Zoe is the daughter of musician Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet and is practically her mothers doppelganger. While her mom made her debut on the family friendly “Cosby Show,” Zoe made her acting debut as a teen prostitute in “The Brave One” with Jodie Foster. She’s now 22 and mostly does indie films because she’s an edgy hipster type and cares about “making art” or whatever.

Rumer Willis: Since some people call her “potato head” (not naming names, Perez Hilton) it’s a wonder anyone stuck her in front of a camera, and then you remember her parents are Demi Moore and Bruce Willis and you’re like “Oh okay, that’s how that happened.” People first started paying attention to her when she appeared in “The House Bunny” with Ana Faris and Emma Stone and since then she’s got a bunch of random jobs like “Sorority Row” and 10 episodes of “90210.” Meh.

Miley Cyrus: When Miley Cyrus first debuted on The Disney Channel as “Hannah Montana” I wondered when they started teaching hamsters how to act. And then I adjusted my glasses and released it was actually a little girl and that her last name was vaguely familiar. Someone said something about an “Achy Breaky Heart” and unfortunately the world was introduced to Billy Ray Cyrus’s daughter and was never the same again.
