Are rich people under the impression that they don't have to pay taxes like the rest of us? The latest celeb to forget to pay up is Ruben Studdard.

The 'American Idol' winner has failed to pay almost $200,000 in state and federal taxes.

We're just surprised he even makes more than that! Part of the cash Ruben owes is from him winning Idol in the first place.

Just goes to show, nothing is free anymore! Ruben doesn't even have a label right now, which is becoming commonplace for ex-Idols. But he's doing the mainstream thing by heading to Broadway! He's star in Aint Misbehavin' starting this November.
