Rosie O'Donnell isn't getting the boot from her boss Barbara Walters, but that doesn't mean this chatter queen is staying at The View.
Insiders tell the New York Post, "Rosie is going to get her own show - but it's too late to do a show for September 2007, so she will re-up for one more year at 'The View' and then do her own show that debuts in September 2008."
Seems like all the drama Rosie has created is helping ratings, since ABC doesn't want Rosie to leave their network. Insiders say, "she revived a 10-year-old show that was on its last legs," and has added 75,000 viewers a week since she joined the show.
The only catch is O'Donnell wants her View executive producer Bill Geddie out. According to sources they hate each other and Rosie will stay if he leaves. In all honesty, we get the whole ratings factor, but Rosie is out of control and needs to chill out.
