Rosie O'Donnell Calls In Sick?

Rosie O'Donnell

The claws come out when Elisabeth gets fed up and finally loses her temper on Rosie...BIGTIME.

Is Rosie O’Donnell saying goodbye to “The View” sooner than we thought? Today’s feud with her co host Elisabeth Hasselbeckhas set new records and Rosie isn’t happy. The chatter queen just posted a message on her blog and she’s not returning to work tomorrow. She says it’s her girlfriends birthday but after watching her fight with Elisabeth, we won’t be surprised if she celebrates until her contract is up.

Where’s Barbara in all this mess and what will we do when Rosie is gone. Seriously, with this season she’s caused more drama, feuds and enemies than Paris Hilton and it’s been very entertaining.

All we can say is Rosie needs to get in the ring with some gloves since its obvious she’s got some suppressed anger that needs to let loose. Just for the sake of it, Donald Trump should be thrown in the ring with her. Now that will be something worth watching.

I think rosie will come back next week, but i bet she wishes she didn't have to. i think she was really hurt. this argument seemed to become a little personal...maybe e's hormones were raging today...it's life, i hope they work it out...

The show is soooo much better with Rosie. While she sometimes seems to let her anger attack others, she has the courage to speak. Her courage is admirable and her opinions thoughtfully stated. I find it infurating that she is so vilified for speaking up. I suspect that others lash out at her because she speaks so loudly. Perhaps if the rest of us would stop whispering she would not have to shout.

You wouldn't believe how much respect my wife & I have for Elisabeth for continually speaking up and not letting loud mouth Rosie get away with her usual cr@p. Someone needs to physically beat Rosie's butt, but until that happens, it's very nice to see someone verbally beat up Rosie time after time. Elisabeth, please don't let up!

Yay Elizabeth..I must admit that I was one of the people that tuned on Rosie's first day , all excited. But after watching for a couple episodes I resented her being there. I know she's entertaining...but pushs s any buttons. She likes to be the center of attention and tell everyone her opinions loud and proud, thats ok if she's on her own show...but she's not so she needs to let others get their opinions out too.

Why does Rosie keep on insisting? She seriously needs to know that she's a nobody...it's like when somebody gives you a job, you do not offend that person...she's like this retarded crap...if I were Liz...I would just say "You're saying silly things on our show just cause you're going to be booted from it in a short while...I understand..."

I have not been a fan of Rosie since she joined the View and have been glad she decided to leave. But, today I feel Elizabeth was totally wrong. Anything a Republican does is ok to her. She acted like a spoiled child today. Very unprofessional. Maybe she also should quit. Very disappointed.

Elizabeth was acting like a immature spoiled and ignorant kid! She was personally attacking Rosie. She has always said stupid things on the view, and we all know she does not have brain power enough to question her dear president, but lately she has been a major B&*^*! I may not like Rosie much, but she has A LOT of valid points and it is not fair she is being vilified! Elizabeth SUCKS!

elizabeth was being a little to know-it-all for me. her hormones are definitley sky rocketing at this point, and i'm sure she'll look back on this and feel kinda stupid. she has no right to sit there and be such an uber-bitch when all anyone is trying to do is express THEIR thoughts. and she was TOTALLY trying to double talk rosie and rephrase what she'd said before. i feel bad for rosie for having to duke it out with this crazy hag. go rosie all the way. atleast rosie doesn't alienate people or make them feellike shit for their beliefs and comments.

It's about time Elizabeth stood up to Rosie. Since Rosie joined the show, I can't even have it on in the background. I have the TV on for prior shows, but off it goes so I don't have to listen to her childish rants.

Rosie needs to leave now. I used to love The View, but can't watch now. I'm glad someone finally stood up to her verbal abuse.

The thing with that loud mouth bitch is she's the only one in the world who's right, and her opinon is so ridiculious. I have never been able to stand her, and I hope when she leaves the view we dont have to deal with her rauchy ass every again. I love the way elizabeth stands her ground with her, and I feel rosie attacks her so much because it's the bully syndrom. She bigger then her, what she doesn't know is I think elizabeth looks fiesty under neath that cute face, and would be able to take rosie in a heartbeat. Rosie is ALLLLLLLL Talk. Time to shut up bitch

LOL! Hearing Ro is taking the day off today for her g/f's 40th b-day.....hmmm.... the typical normal reaction of a lib....hide and lick the wounds! It is about time ABC allowed ANOTHER "view" to be heard! :)

I don't believe that Rosie will hide from anything. She had a pre-scheduled engagement. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and the point of "The View" is to give a voice to all perspectives on an issue. But my opinion is as follows: Elizabeth, while very cute, is so anal and strait-laced and closed minded and naive, and she believes everyone who isn't on her path of thinking is wrong. She's very annoying. Beyond words. Her pregnant hormones don't help either.

WAY TO REPRESENT ELISABETH! DARLIN' YOU SHOULD BE PROUD THAT YOU HELD YOUR GROUD AND ACTED LIKE AN ADULT. ROSIE SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND IT QUITE OBVISIOUS TO ME THAT ROSIE WAS FIRED. I MEAN SHE DID IMPROVE RATINGS BUT IN JANUARY THE RATINGS DROPPED BY 50,000 VIEWERS WHEN ROSIE STARTED GOING ON HER RADICAL POLITICS TIRADE. BARBARA WALTERS SHOULD BE HUMILIATED AND REALIZE THAT KARMA HAS COME TO SLAP HER IN THE FACE AFTER WHAT SHE DID TO STAR JONES. I BET DONALD TRUMP AND STAR JONES ARE ESCATIC. LIKE TRUMP SAYS AND AMERICA AND ABC AGREES, "ROSIE, YOU'RE FIRED!"

The tv networks have allowed Rosie, the kind of person America seems to love these days unfortunately, to take over The View. An obnoxious, screaming person who bullies people who do not agree with her "insightful comments". We all have the right to our opinion in this country and whenever someone doesn't agree with Rosie, she attacks. She is a disgrace and people in America need to wake up and realize we are becoming the laughing stock of this world portraying ourselves as pompous, overbearing loudmouths with little of relevance to say. I'm quite certain that people in our government know more FACTS than Rosie, who feels the need to spew her venom. There are AMERICANS committed to their cause in Iraq and to criticize their mission while they are over there and call for an exact pull-out date is beyond short sighted and deplorable. Support your troops Rosie and stop with your ranting and really, above all, get some help. I loved your talk show way back when. Now I have to wonder, who is the real Rosie? The nice talk show host from before, or this mean, LOUD, attacking woman I see on tv??????

I feel that Rosie beats up on everyone who doesn't agree with her opinion, she just speaks louder than everyone and her opinion is the only one that counts (to her) Elisabeth has always tried to offer opposing viewpoints in a professional manner, I wouldn't have lasted this long! Who can blame her for losing it?! (I didn't see this episode, though) I have seen Rosie call her names and pick on her just for her conservative views. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and no one should be badgered for it.

Why are all the comments about taking sides Rosie’s or Elizabeth’s, and not about the true question at hand? Are we Americans to blame for the 650,000 innocent civilian lives lost in our war in Iraq? The answer is YES, as Americans we are responsible for those lives. Al Qaeda invaded America because of our perceived treat to them and Americans called them terrorist. But when America invaded Iraq because of our perceived treat to us, we call ourselves liberators. We invaded a country that had noting to do with the deaths and destruction of 9/11, and yet we Americans take no responsibility for the lives lost in that invasion. . Rosie was not calling our troops terrorist, just the man in the oval office. America wake up.

Love Rosie. Cannot Stand Prissy Hasselbeck!!! Rosie is real. Hasselbeck is as phony as they come. Wouldn't walk across the street to see her, and if I ran into her on the street, I just might end up smacking her! Disgusting. Go Rosie! Keep it real!

Thank you John! Indeed this is not about Rosie or Elisabeth. This is about the double standard of our Country under the "leadership" of Bush. And Rosie is right....we call those who attack us terrorists....and when we attack others because we don't like their leaders, we call ourselves "liberators". I don't know why others don't get it!!

I am astonished to read that viewers actually think that Rosie does not verbally abuse those who do not agree with her ultra liberal views. WOW! Just watch back episodes and see how many times Rosie "Shuts-up" Elizabeth by putting up her hand or talking over her. Wether you agree with Rosie or Elizabeth at least be objective about what you can quantify by watching the show. Elizabeth has taken a lot from Rosie and just had enough. I don't agree with Elizabeth all the time but at least she shows dignity and grace . It's about time people started holding Rosie accoutable for her rants. SHe has a right to say what she wants but she also needs to understand that viewers have the right to hold her accountable .

The View should be cancelled after Rosie leaves. Noone can replace her and if ABC decides to keep airing this show bring Rosanne Barr on because she would not be as polite as Rosie is to Elizabeth when it comes to disagreeing on George Bush's politics and th war on Iraq. Elizabeth would probably have to walk off......

Elizabeth PWNS all over Rosie. She held her own like the classy dame she is. Even other liberals are fed up with Rosie's rants. She needs to STFU big time, and soon.

I watch the View daily, I have DVR so not to miss a show. I like Rosie and will try to learn from her. We must keep our eye on the ball, not to be distracted. There is a war going on, people are dying and for what? I was in high school 1974 when there was a oil crisis, if the PEOPLE had demanded a national energy policy, there would be no need to be fighting for oil. American citizens can make a difference.

I fine Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt a remarkable couple and have done so much to help other people I am very impress with this couple. What I do not understand as a Canadian why they American's have not give this couple a big award for all there hard work which comes from the heart. Anyone trys has hard as they do should be given every award available so they well continue on. I want Angelina and Brad to know keep up the good work and well done with your children and I do hope you well have many more. Carol

I have to ask how ignorant does Rosie think we are. She used her position on The View as a soapbox to spew her liberal agenda with little or no regard to what the majority of the public may think. Elisabeth, as far as I am concerned, was correct in holding "loud mouth" Rosie accountable for her views. Rosie wants to do all the talking and not allow views that are opposite of her own. Further, she is unwilling to be polite enough to at least listen. Elisabeth has a right to expound her views, whether you like them or not, as well as any of the other hosts. Wake up liberals and understand that there are always two sides to every issue. Stop trying to silence those who do not agree with your less than well thought out arguments. What ever happened to the right of free speech, that means liberals and conservatives as well? Liberals seem to be "loud mouths" who don't have a clue about what they are talking about. The liberals are being disrespectful to those who serve in the armed forces, mainly due to their lack of support for the troops, which is exactly the same thing that happened with Viet Nam. Think about it and try to tell me there is not some truth in what I just said! Will we as a nation never learn?

I'm not going to argue about who was right/wrong in the political arguement. I'll just say straight forward that Rosie is dicatatorial. She demands that people think and act in the way she expects them to do. This fight wasn't about politics, this was a catfight, started by Rosie, because Elisabeth didn't answer in the way she wanted her to. Rosie dear, there is a difference between debating and arguing. You take every argument to the point of bullying. Your attitude and delivery pollute the message you are trying to get out. You do more harm than good. Please take a step back and watch with new eyes. You can do so much good if you can only learn to talk TO people rather than OVER them. Good luck in the future.

Hank Pararoupoulos
The Eliz/Rosie argument clearly shows Rosie's "can't help herself" nasty behavior. While I don't agree with Elizabeth's views, that is irrelevant. The second Rosie called Elizabeth a "coward," the "political" discussion was over. Now it was simply Rosie personally attacking Elizabeth. This is what O'Donnell ALWAY does. When she cannot prevail her opinion upon someone, she stoops to personal attacks, be it Donald Trump, Kelly Rippa, etc. She also does this as a self-serving mechanism due to her own insecurities from the negative media she receives and her need to be controversial to garner media/public attention. What is most infuiating about Rosie O'Donnell is that in her zeal to champion her own opinions, she has no respect or tolerance for anyone elses. She's pathetic. The best thing that can happen to her is that she's denied media coverage. Let her be treated like Don Imus, the media money (advert.) should shun her, thus denying her what she would deny her opposition - a fair hearing.

Rosie is allowed to have an opinion as well as Elizabeth. This is just a pointless battle that going to end with no winner, and other thing Elizabeth should have better sense then to fight like that knowing that she is pregrant, and that it could cause complications with the child.

All I can say is "The loudest voices for tolerance are usually the most intolerant people." (thank you Andrew Wilkow) I think Rosie learned that sometimes people bite back when her intolerance gets overly boisterous. See you on Sirius Satellite soon w/the rest of the people that want to continue to "speak their minds," Rosie.

This debate IS personal, people! When I hear people debate on the War in Iraq, you're damned straight it's personal. People are dying. Families are being torn apart. The president has no support amonst the majority of the citizenry, a majority of whom believe that we were lied to to get into this thing. The war, and deaths of endless thousands is personal. What Rosie was saying was, that Elizabeth sits and spews the Fox/Conservative/Bush party line and totally disregards the person she knows is Rosie. Elizabeth set Rosie up last week by implying that Rosie was saying the troups are terrorists, when Rosie wasn't saying anything of the kind. Then she refused to stand up for Rosie, when she knows Rosie has actually supported the troups to the tune of millions for hospital, rehab, etc. If a person who called me "friend" set me up, twisted my words, then sat back while people misquoted me, villified me, and crucified me for something I didn't say, I would be angry too. Rosie may be loud at times, but Rosie more than allows Elizabeth to spout her views. Watch the show, not the small clips on the net. It's just not true that she stomps out the opposition. Look at the full clip. Joy was the one in an argument with dingbat Elizabeth, and Rosie sat silent for 6 minutes before calmly trying to make her point. Elizabeth was shrill, picked the fight. Rosie got teary because damn it, it is a huge betrayal, what Elizabeth did. Sorry haters. This is what happened. This is the truth.

Rosie only speaks against the Bush Administration and what she sees as an illegal war. Guess what: 70% of Americans agree with this position and want us to leave Iraq. So why dump on Rosie?? She is not an aberration; her views are consistent the majority of the nation.

How spineless Ms. Elizabeth proved to be. She couldn't seem to do anything but double talk and screech back at Rosie because she knew she was wrong. I couldn't believe it when I saw the replay of it on the news last night. Rosie - you go girl - and stand your ground. Elizabeth if you were Rosie's friend as you say you are - you would never have treated her the way you did.
