Quite frankly I'm tired of Rosie O'Donnell and I was thrilled when she left 'The View' because I figured we'd finally gotten rid of her--boy was I wrong!
Rosie made a really interesting comment Wednesday night at Roseanne Barr 's invitation during her late-night set at Comix on W. 14th. She started off by saying, "When I was fired by Barbara Walters..."
Rosie went on to say that Walters and her other co-stars wore earpieces through which producers tell them what to say, which Rosie refused to do.
After she was done venting about getting fired she said, "But she paved the way for women," she continued, "She interviewed Presidents ... "
"Like Abraham Lincoln," snapped Barr. Ouch!
Since her departure from 'The View' Rosie and her co-stars had stuck to the 'Rosie left voluntarily' story, so this was the first time there was any mention of her getting fired. Whatever the case is, I was still glad to see her go, her voice annoys the shit out of me.
