After a failed stint in Chicago, Rosie O’Donnell is reportedly back in New York City and she’s dropping big bucks to live in style.

According to the New York Post, the comedienne turned talk show host just dropped $8 million dollars for a brand new four bedroom condo with “sustainable” elements such as a “green roof,” filtered air and water and its own customized wireless network.

That’s right people, for only $8 million dollars you can breath fresh air in NYC and surf the web. Total steal.

The real estate site Zillow has more details on the unit as well a Rosie’s home owning activity in recent years.

After the last episode of her short lived talk show for Oprah’s OWN Network, O’Donnell sold her $5.2 million dollar Lakeview townhome for $5.2 million dollars. Sadly, she wasn’t there long enough for it to appreciate.

She also has a vacation pad in Florida that she listed in April.

With those chapters closed, the native New Yorker is moving on, back to her own side of the blacktop.

Her new Greenwich Village pad is in a totally renovated building that at one point was a hospital.

Both Blake Lively and Cameron Diaz reportedly checked out units in the same building, but ultimately gave it a pass.

In the notoriously cramped city, Rosie’s place has over 3,000 square feet of living space and a gigantic private terrace.

She can definitely use the space for the four children that she shares custody with, with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter.

And let’s not forget Rosie’s fiancé Michelle Rounds – also a New Yorker by blood.

The two became engaged last year and according to Rosie's rep, no date has been set for the nuptials.

But it’s all coming together so we're hoping a wedding isn't too far behind

Good luck with the move Ro!
