Rod Blagojevich is best known for getting impeached from office after an arrest on federal corruption charges that included allegations of a plot to sell the state’s empty senate seat. But now Blago is getting his time in the sun.
He’s joining nine other “celebrities” on
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! based on the U.K. show with the same name. The show is a survivor-esque competition in which the contestants are dropped in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle.
The show, which airs June 1st, will feature the contestants facing challenges designed to test their skills in adapting to the wilderness and to raise money for their favorite charities.
Rod Blagojevich will be a participant on the show pending the court’s approval.
