The hilarious actor, who just had open-heart surgery eight weeks ago, went on David Letterman's Late Show on Wednesday and poked fun at himself claiming him and Letterman "are now brotherhood of the zipper chests."

Robin Williams is recovering well after having heart surgery on Friday. Surgeon Marc Gillinov of the Cleveland Clinic said in a statement today:

"Mr. Williams' operation went extremely well, and we expect him to make a full recovery. The 3-1/2-hour heart surgery was conducted to replace his aortic valve, repair his mitral valve and correct his irregular heart beat."

Funnyman Robin Williams was hospitalized in South Florida on Wednesday after complaining about his heart.

According to the LA Times, Williams is currently being held in the ICU, but other reports that said he wasn't.

Williams was admitted because he started complaining from shortness of breath.

Williams is in South Florida because he had four scheduled performances of his "Weapons of Self Destruction" show but his doctor advised him to get a week of rest after evaluating him.

That's it for Robbie Williams! The singer checked himself out of rehab after three weeks and was already seen out partying. That's not a good sign is it?

I'm surprised he lasted 3 weeks. 3 weeks is a lot at the facility he was staying at. It was no Wonderland or Promises, Robbie opted to be treated at the Cottonwood de Tucson which is said to be a "real" rehab center and not a resort center.
