The Steven Spielberg-directed movie focuses on the Civil War president and is currently shooting in Richmond, VA. The film is four years in the making, and on Thursday, a photo surfaced of Daniel dressed as Abraham Lincoln. Well, almost. I’m not sure if Lincoln wore Levi's and a Steve Jobs turtleneck.
Daniel is no doubt going to make his depiction of Abraham Lincoln a role to remember. And his name will be added to a long list of celebs who have played U.S. Presidents.
Tom Selleck: Dwight D. Eisenhower: Selleck surprised fans when he took on the role of General Dwight D. Eisenhower in the 2004 A&E flick, Ike: Countdown to D-Day. I’m not sure why people were surprised. He’s done stuff other than Three Men and a Baby, people. There was also Magnum, P.I.

This is Williams’ third marriage, as his ex-wife of twenty-two years filed for divorce back in 2007, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Read: got tired of his John Madden impressions and the sound of him coughing up his own hairballs. The divorce was finalized last year. Before that, Williams was married for ten years, between 1978 and 1988.
Schneider is an artist and graphic designer who heads up the graphic design firm Critical Eye Design, and recently told the San Francisco Chronicle she was “so excited and so thrilled” for her big day.

Williams says that he'd love to play The Riddler when he makes another big screen debut.
Robin Williams Asked to Play Susan Boyle in a Movie
“I would do Batman in a second,” says Williams. “I’d play The Riddler in the next one, although it would be hard to top Heath Ledger as the villain and I’m a little hairy for tights.”
In the past, Williams was actually offered the role of The Joker and The Riddler but overlooked it.
We actually think Robin would make a great Joker and Riddler. Come on Christopher Nolan, get him on board!

According to a new report in the Guardian, Williams has been asked to play singing sensation Susan Boyle in a movie about her life. Film executives are planning a film about her rise to stardom after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent.
It helps that Robin is already a big Susan Boyle fan, and has reportedly been practicing his impressions of her and singing “I Dreamed a Dream” to prepare for the role.
He says, "I've been asked if I want to play Susan in the movie. I think she's incredible. That clip of her singing on Britain's Got Talent was extraordinary. So inspiring. It was quite a shock when she began to sing. I saw some other clip of her singing Cry Me A River a few years ago. It was incredible. She's got a really great voice."
We’re not sure how Susan Boyle will react to a man playing the part of her in her biopic, but we think Robin will be fantastic! He’s going to have to start working on those high octave notes!

The hilarious actor, who just had open-heart surgery eight weeks ago, went on David Letterman's Late Show on Wednesday and poked fun at himself claiming him and Letterman "are now brotherhood of the zipper chests."
Letterman also had open-heart surgery back in 2000, so they clearly found an unusual bond.
Robin joked that "I have one new valve and a repaired valve. I have a cow valve, which is great, and the grazing's been fun."
When asked when he knew he had a real problem, he said he noticed there was something wrong with his heart when he was getting short of breath, "code for heart problem," he added.
All jokes aside, we're just glad that his surgery went well and he's up and about joking and smiling again...and working! His new film Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian opens May 22.

"Mr. Williams' operation went extremely well, and we expect him to make a full recovery. The 3-1/2-hour heart surgery was conducted to replace his aortic valve, repair his mitral valve and correct his irregular heart beat."
"His heart is strong, and he will have normal heart function in the coming weeks with no limitations on what he'll be able to do."
The doctor added that a couple hours after surgery, Williams was even joking around with the medical team and making everyone laugh.
Robin released a statement to Us Weekly saying, "The professionals at the University of Miami Hospital and ultimately at the Cleveland Clinic were all fantastic.
"I can't thank them enough for their kindness and dedication while I was in their care. I must also thank all the people who have expressed their love and concern for me. I have been deeply touched by their support."
Williams then joked, "I got some great new material for the tour and can't wait to get back on the road. I'm thinking the next leg of the tour will be 'Weapons of Self-Destruction and Reconstruction!'"
His stand-up comedy show had been put on hold until after the surgery, but it looks like he’s already ready to get back no stage. The show will reportedly resume in the fall. We’re glad to hear Robin is back in good health!

According to the LA Times, Williams is currently being held in the ICU, but other reports that said he wasn't.
Williams was admitted because he started complaining from shortness of breath.
Williams is in South Florida because he had four scheduled performances of his "Weapons of Self Destruction" show but his doctor advised him to get a week of rest after evaluating him.
The funnyman doesn’t like to rest! He has been on an 80-city tour since September, which is definitely not an easy thing to do, especially at his age.
After getting the weeklong rest he desperately needs, he will be back on stage on Monday in Jacksonville, Fla.
UPDATE: Williams' rep released a statement saying that Robin will have "to undergo surgery for an aortic valve replacement."
Williams also released the following statement:
"I'm so touched by everyone's support and well wishes. This tour has been amazing fun and I can't wait to get back out on the road after a little tune-up."

Williams says, "It's a payback for them. It's all-access to the American Dream. We in no way have given the vets their due. These guys and gals have sacrificed so much. It's the least we can do."
The bill would cost the U.S. $4 billion each year. Where our country would get that money is another story! But we're so far in debt now, what's another few billion? Do you side with Robin on this issue?

"I met Courtney Love and she said she'd like to sleep with me, but couldn't because of my pop star thing. So I said I couldn't sleep with her either because of the ugly thing."

That's it for Robbie Williams! The singer checked himself out of rehab after three weeks and was already seen out partying. That's not a good sign is it?
I'm surprised he lasted 3 weeks. 3 weeks is a lot at the facility he was staying at. It was no Wonderland or Promises, Robbie opted to be treated at the Cottonwood de Tucson which is said to be a "real" rehab center and not a resort center.
