Iron Man 2 has dominated the U.S. Box office for the second week in a row earning over $53 million dollars this past weekend.

The sequel to the 2008 hit, which stars Robert Downey Jr., has held onto the number one spot since it's release and earned over $212 million so far!

Here's the top ten movies from the May 14 - 16 weekend:

1. Iron Man 2 2: $53 million
2. Robin Hood: $37.1 million
3. Letters to Juliet: $13.7 million
4. Just Wright: $8.5 million
5. How To Train Your Dragon: $5.1 million
6. A Nightmare on Elm Street: $4.7 million
7. Date Night: $4 million
8. The Back-up Plan: $2.4 million
9. Furry Vengeance: $2.3 million
10. Clash of the Titans: $1.2 million
Director Ridley Scott’s new movie Robin Hood is headed to Cannes Film Festival. The film has been chosen to open the entire event which begins on May 12th. It will not compete for any prizes during the festival however.

But that will give the movie a lot of press right before it opens in theaters on May 14th. Cannes delegate general Thierry Fremaux told Variety, “From Wednesday at Cannes through Friday in the States, the film goes worldwide. I like that. Everybody can have their own opening night.”

The film stars Russell Crowe and Cate Blanchett, who took over for Sienna Miller to play the leading lady. Check out the trailer below!

The first trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming film Robin Hood has just been released, starring Russell Crowe as the legendary outlaw. The story follows an archer (Crowe) in the service of King Richard the Lionheart who eventually became known as Robin Hood, the famous archer and outlaw of English Folklore.

Beginning after the Death of King Richard at the Siege of Chalus Chabrol, the film follows Robin on his rise to infamy among the English Barons and the newly crowned King John.

The film also stars Cate Blanchett as Maid Marion, and Mark Strong as Sir Godfrey. The movie hits theaters May 14, 2010.Check out the trailer below! Now we know why the director, who also did Gladiator, picked Russell!
