Because we here at Hollyscoop are bizarrely and devastatingly obsessed with Robert Pattinson (Okay, I say “we” but I really mean “me,” specifically and exclusively) we’ve rounded up all of R-Patz TV appearances scheduled this week since The Great Twilight Cheating Scandal of 2012!
While Kristen Stewart hides out and practices her disaffected scowl, Pattinson has to venture out into the human world to promote his indie movie Cosmopolis. Basically, he has to show up for premieres, interviews, and late night talk shows to share boring anecdotes and flash his beady little eyes. Needless to say, Twihards are salivating.
Here’s where Pattinson will be this week and where to watch him.
Monday, August 13 – Rob is taping an episode of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” today which will air tonight on Comedy Central. A source told RadarOnline that Kristen is reportedly "very, very nervous," to see the episode because she thinks "Stewart might poke fun at the situation in an attempt to get Robert to open up." Boo, you whore. #MeanGirls
Later, Rob will attend the U.S. premiere of Cosmopolis at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The screening starts at 7:30 and already a bunch of Twihards have begun camping out. They are calling themselves “Operation Support Rob.”
Tuesday, August 14: Rob will be doing a day of Cosmopolis press conferences and junkets. Mainly he’ll be dodging K-Stew questions interspersed with “what was it like working on Cosmopolis?” inquiries. You can’t watch these interviews, but the best quotes will undoubtedly hit the Internet on Tuesday night.
Wednesday, August 15: Pattinson will appear on ABC’s morning show “Good Morning America” and since that show is two hours long you must watch the entire thing because he can appear at any time!
Later that day, Rob will do a Q&A with Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg that will livestream here [http://new.livestream.com/nytimes/cronenbergpattinson] beginning at 6:30 pm EDT.
Thursday, August 16: At 7:49 pm ET (set your DVR’s) Rob will appear on MTV for a 30-minute interview about his new flick. Rob will be interviewed by MTV News’ Josh Horowitz who has famously interview Rob & Kristen each year during Twilight mayhem, so this might be a bit awkward, like getting lunch with your ex-lovers roommate. Kind of, actually not at all, why would you even do that? Just watch MTV on Thursday!
Friday, August 17: Rob’s film Cosmopolis opens in New York and Los Angeles.
What we all want to know is...Will he talk about the scandal? Guess we've gotta watch to find out. And if he doesn't do it on any one of those shows, maybe Kimmel can get it out of him.
Wednesday, August 22: Rob will appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” next Wednesday which will air that same night.
