Robert Pattinson Promotes \'Twilight\' In Australia Without Kristen Stewart
Bad news for Australian Twilight fans--Robert Pattinson headed to the land down under for a Twilight fan event but attended solo, so no chance for Twihards to catch a glimpse of the K-Stew and R-Patz love reunion.

I don’t understand why Twihards like these two together. Isn’t the whole point in salivating over RPatz the hope that he’s single and that you “have a chance.” Isn’t delusion the key ingredient to being a Twihard?

Kristen had to go to Japan to promote Twihard in the far east. Here she is walking through the airport with her signature backwards hat on. I don’t know what the point is of sending these two to such far and separate extremes of the globe.

During the Q&A in Australia, Rob dished on how he hates the name RPatz, “I would like to break the hands and mouth of the person who came up with it,” he says with a laugh.

Woah, a little pissy this morning, are we?

He also says he wished Twihards would separate his real life from the film, “People can’t really watch the films any more because they’re thinking about all this other silliness.”

And by “silliness” he means, “cheating scandal.”

He also admitted that he does read what the tabloids are saying about him, “When you're promoting something, it's weird; it's like a strange sort of addiction. If people were whispering about you in the next room you probably want to know what they're saying, but really you'll always regret it because they're probably talking s--- about you. It's this weird thing. You only do it if you're feeling bad, and want to make yourself feel worse. If you're feeling good you never look at it.”

Rob also seems ready to say goodbye to Edward Cullen forever, saying casting directors never seem to be able to separate him from that character.

“People think I’m similar to the character, but Edward's such a specific part. I always find it so funny when you do any other part. They're like 'this is him kind of acting now'. What did you think I was doing in Twilight?”
