Move over, Kristen Stewart
Rob Pattinson has found himself a brand new leading lady. And a much older leading lady, at that. According to reports, Rob has signed on for the title role in the movie Bel Ami opposite Nicole Kidman.
The story is about how a young journalist rises to the top of Parisian high society in the 1890s by sleeping with the city’s most glamorous and influential women.
The film is an adaption of Guy de Maupassant's 1885 short story. Although it hasn’t yet been revealed, it’s believed Nicole will play Madeline Forestier, Georges' one-time mentor who later becomes his wife.
Rob says of the role, "It's a totally amoral character. The girl needs to be literally inspirational.” Well, we’ll have to see if Nicole lives up to his standards.
Shooting begins in February 2010.
