Rob Pattinson exudes confidence and sexiness both on and off the screen. But don’t let his façade fool you—the Twilight hottie is a lot more humble than you might think!
Rob spoke with Parade magazine and admitted to being unsure about himself most of the time. When asked about his ability to be a player, Rob says, "When it comes to the opposite sex, I'm not as fully confident as the guy I play. I don't even remember the last time I asked someone out on a date, like, just went up to them and that's the first thing I did. I'm much more self-conscious and not wanting to fail. So I tend to hold back."
We don’t know why, seeing as though 99% of women would never shoot him down! But perhaps Rob’s insecurities date back to his childhood, which wasn’t always smooth sailing.
"I got beaten up by a lot of people when I was younger,” he explains. “I was a bit of an idiot, but I always thought the assaults were unprovoked. It was after I first started acting and I liked to behave like an actor, or how I thought an actor was supposed to be, and that apparently provoked a lot of people into hitting me."
Well, at least Rob can laugh about it now! We’re sure no one’s provoking fights with him these days. As for his love life, we may never get confirmation on whether he and Kristen Stewart are an item, but either way he’s doing just fine in that department.
