Report: Rob Pattinson Wants To Get To The Bottom Of Cheating Scandal

July 27, 2012 By:

Robert Pattinson isn’t in a place where he’s ready to talk to Kristen Stewart about her momentary indiscretion, but he definitely “wants answers.”

RadarOnline is reporting that Rob is planning on going directly to one half the source of the scandal to find out the details of “exactly what happened” between Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders -- it’s just not his other half that he’s interested in talking to.

An insider told the site that "Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen."

Since she possibly irrevocably violated his trust, Rob doesn’t feel like Kristen would be honest with him, so he plans on getting the details from her make-out partner instead.

"Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can't be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert. Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him."

Though whether or not Rupert will be honest remains to be seen.

Rumorfix has a quote from a source who claims that the whole thing was the married director’s idea:

“He was absolutely infatuated with her. He was after her for months but she was just in love with her boyfriend. She never chased him, never pursued him. He is much older than her and took advantage of his position.“

Well, whatever level of infatuation Rupert confirms or denies, it seems that lip-locking might have just been the extent of the whole big to-do.

Gossip Cop is reporting that there was never ever any sex stuff happening between the two whatsoever…

Though let's not discount the possibility that maybe the story broke before they had a chance to remove any layers of casual cotton clothing?

Let’s hope that any forthcoming details can help Rob find a way to be at peace with this whole thing, or at least provide the closure he needs.

I mean, Twilight’s done, right? So what’s the point of really holding on?
