Twilight fans have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming Twilight Breaking Dawn film because the usually celibate vampires finally take a trip to bonetown. And by bonetown, I mean vampire Robert Pattinson shreds apart the headboard with his vampire hands and then it fades to black while 12-year-old Twilight fans in the audience are scared sh-tless.
Kristen Stewart says she was shocked when she filmed those honeymoon scenes.
“There are two big sex scenes in the two [final] films, and we did them fairly early, “ Kristen tells UK Glamour, “It was so weird, it didn’t even feel like we were doing a scene with a Twilight film. I was like, ‘Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!’ It was very surreal.”
The scenes were so graphic that the MPAA originally gave the film an R rating, but since nobody who likes Twilight is over the age of 17 that’s probably a horrible marketing strategy.
Robert Pattinson says they’re aren’t actually any love making scenes in the book.
“It’s funny, people talk about sex scenes in the book but there aren’t actually any. It’s all in people’s imagination. They’re like, ‘It’s so hardcore.’ But it always fades to black. It just shows bits of the aftermath,” Pattinson tells Total Film magazine.
These love scenes are apparently kind of violent, because she’s human and he’s vampire or whatever and every time he comes close to her he actually wants to kill her. In any other geared-at-children movie this would send every parent, church and school in America to burn down the MPAA, but because Robert Pattinson is so hot, I guess it makes it okay. That’s the rule right? If he’s hot, there’s no problem.
Pattinson just wants to scene to live up to the hype.
“[But] you have to show something! You can't fade to black in the movie because people would go insane! It's strange trying to do a singular event which everyone is expecting. At the end of the day, watching other people have sex is never going to be that spectacular. Hopefully it'll be good. There's so much hype. You're like, 'God, I hope this lives up to it!'
In real life, K-stew are R-Patz are a real life are-they-aren’t-they couple and aside from the one time Kristen accidentally referred to her “British Boyfriend” she likes to not reveal anything about her personal life.
“People can say whatever they want," she say, “But when it's personal to you, it's like your life becomes a product, and I'm repelled by that. I don't like to give away gems that people are gonna be like, 'Oh my God!' So I'll always just shrug it off. In fact, I always find it kind of funny, and not just with Rob."
