Distraught Robert Pattinson Cancels All Promotional Appearances
Conflicting reports are surfacing regarding just how depressed Robert Pattinson really is about (ex?) girlfriend Kristen Stewart's poor decision making in the last couple of weeks.

A source has told Us Weekly that Rob is "beyond devastated.”

"He's so heartbroken. He's shocked she could hurt him and humiliate him this way."

So what might “beyond devastated” do to his work ethic?

ET Online is claiming that Pattinson is so distraught over Stewart's affair with her Snow White and the Huntsmen director, in public, in front of cameras, that he’s canceled an upcoming U.S. press appearance in support of his forthcoming really weird art pic Cosmopolis, which left questions at to whether or not he would be able to emotionally handle attending the upcoming NYC premiere.

Though ET failed to reach any of Rob’s “people” for comment on the matter (hey, they’re really busy doing damage control on the dissolution of the vampire couple we all thought had an eternity of happiness in front of them).

But a lot of misinformation has been put out there lately.

Everyone’s fave rumor enforcers/ debunkers Gossip Cop are claiming otherwise, saying that they were lucky enough to fight through the busy signals to speak with one of Rob’s reps, who told them:

“Cosmopolis is a film that Robert is very proud of and looks forward to supporting. No confirmed engagements have been canceled.”

“Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate.”

So…. Have any unconfirmed engagements been canceled? Like ones that were just based on verbal, not legal commitments?

Like couples that are living together with an assumption that they’ll go the distance, but they don’t actually bother to seal the deal with a signed contract and a band of gold?

Who knows…. The only thing that seems certain in these devastating times for Edward and Bella is that despite a seemingly firm toothhold on the concept of eternity, nothing actually lasts forever.
