Robert Downey's Memoir Postponed

Guess when you're career comes back with a vengeance; you don't need a memoir quite yet! Robert Downey Jr. was set to release a self-written memoir about the highs and lows of his life and career, but it's now been put on hold. He's even returned his advance to publisher Harper Collins.

Robert has returned to the big screen in a major way this year, with Iron Man, Tropic Thunder, and Sherlock Holmes in pre-production. Not to mention talks of him reprising his role in Iron Man 2.

Downey's rep declined to comment on the reason for the postponement, but when your schedule's as busy as Robert's, a memoir that highlights your life isn't something you have time for.

Plus we're sure that this high he's riding on will be a part of the memoir one day, when Robert does decide to retire, which we hope doesn't happen for a very long time!
