Robert Downey Jr. Injured on Set

During recent filming for the new Sherlock Holmes movie, Robert Downey Jr. was injured so badly that he was said to be "drooling blood."

Apparently, while they were filming a fight scene, Robert was injured by Robert Mailleta, a 350 lb extra. The blow was so sever that he was knocked right off his feet. Luckily, an on-set nurse was able to stitch up the inside of his mouth and get him ready for action again.

A source on set said: "Robert was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook. He went flying and was out cold. He didn't want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. He's a trooper."

He does sound like a good sport and we wish him a speedy recovery.
