Burger King Saved Robert Downey Jr.

We don't know how many people can actually call Burger King a lifesaver, but Robert Downey Jr. is happy to praise the fast food joint for saving his lfie. He says the BK helped him turn his life around a few years back, when he was battling drug and alcohol addiction.

Robert says he was driving on PCH with a ton of drugs in his car, when he decided to pull over at Burger King. He says, "I have to thank Burger King. It was such a disgusting burger I ordered. I had that, and this big soda, and I thought something really bad was going to happen." So he threw all the drugs into the Pacific Ocean and resolved to clean up his life right then and there.

What a crazy story! As happy as we are for Robert for taking control of his life, isn't that a little environmentally unfriendly to toss your drugs into the ocean?
