With so many tabloids going around, it's hard to distinguish the truth from the rumors--especially if you're a celebrity junkie like
Rob Pattinson's mom.
RPats admits that his mother tends to pick up all the weekly tabloids and reads stories about her son--and she believes everything she reads, reports Showbiz Spy.
He said, “My mom says, ‘I can’t believe you did this’, and I’m like, ‘I didn’t do it’, she’s like, ‘yes you did, I know you did.’”
“It was about swearing, I was like, ’say something about sleeping with people and swearing and stuff, I wasn’t even in the city’. And she’s just like, ‘no, I don’t believe, I bet you did say that’.”
RPats has tried to maintain a low profile since he shot to fame playing Edward Cullen in
Twilight, but he soon realized that was easier said than done.
So how does he handle all the false stories written about him? “You try and stay kind of Zen about it. You just have to learn to accept it all,” he adds.
At this point RPats can't even go to a grocery store without being followed by 400 screaming girls, but it must also be weird for celebrity parents to have to read about their kids all the time.
