Face Off: Rob Dyrdek Vs. Tosh.0

It’s a head-to-head showdown between the kings of the comedy clip shows.

Rob Dyrdek has muddied the already murky waters with Daniel Tosh of Tosh.0. The two hosts of competing clip shows have been exchanging their versions of a back-and-forths and the argument has migrated to Twitter.

"The idea of having beef with @danieltosh is truly embarrassing ... for real ... imagine that 'clip show host' beef ... but now that beef is very real," Rob tweeted.

It all started when Tosh poked fun of Rob’s “Fantasy Factory” in a sketch where he dressed up like the skateboard star and pretended to be a pedophile. If you aren’t familiar with Rob’s MTV show, the “Factory” is his custom office building in downtown LA, which features a gigantic skatepark and plenty of big-boy toys like a three-wheel T-rex car and moto-x bikes.

In Tosh’s twisted version, his “Childish Dreams Fantasy For Young Boys Only” is a bunch of little boys on scooters without shirts on. His “foam pit” is an oversized bathtub where the boys disturbingly frolic to the sicko’s delight.

“This place is awesome,” Tosh says in the sketch. “It’s got everything you could ever want, if the only thing you ever wanted was to hang around with 12-year-old, shirtless boys.”

Rob also hosts an MTV Youtube clip show “Ridiculousness," that one could argue bears a striking resemblance to Tosh’s original show on Comedy Central. Tosh made little effort to hide his feelings that Rob copied him.

“This is my own original idea I had years ago before he did,” Tosh mocked, referring to his sketch spinoff. “I was just too busy with other projects to see it through.”

It seems like Rob has bit his tounge, though. Since the original post, his tweet has been taken down.

“I am not going to try to fight @danieltosh,” he followed up today. “I played perfectly into his plan.. He did something very funny..I reacted like a douche bag”

He did, however, tease that there might have an official response on tonight’s “Ridiculousness,” continuing:

“With all of that being said..tune into to an all new @ridiculousness with @EllisMate tonight at 11pm!”

Hmmm… This might not be the end to this epic comedy feud after all!
