Rita Ora. biography
Singer-songwriter Rita Sahatciu Ora was born on November 26, 1990, in Pristina, Yugoslavia and raised in London, where graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School and St. Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. Ora began singing at an early age, but first started her career in acting with an appearance in the British film Spivs (2004). In 2007, Ora made her music debut on Craig David's hit "Awkward" and again on "Where's Your Love" in 2008.
In 2009, Ora caught the eye of rap mogul Jay-Z who later signed her to his record label Roc Nation. She then appeared in the video for "Young Forever" and Drake's "Over" before making a cameo on a commercial for Roc Nation headphones.
Ora released her first single off of her debut album Ora, "Ho We Do (Party)," on February 12, 2012, which reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart. With the help of Drake, Kanye West, will.i.am, The-Dream and Ester Dean, Ora completed her album after two years of putting it together. The album debuted at the top of the UK Albums Chart on August 27, 2012, and resulted in Ora earning many nominations at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards, including Push Artist, Best New Artist and Best UK/Ireland Act.
Although a rising musician, Ora is best known for her relationship with reality star Rob Kardashian. The couple made headlines in December 2012, when Rob accused Ora of cheating on him with more than 20 different men via Twitter, saying, "When a woman cheats on you with one man I can live with that. People make mistakes, trust me. I have forgiven numerous times…But when a woman disrespects herself by messing with more than 20 men all while being in a relationship with a Faithful man... I just don't get how a woman can do that to her body. And your career hasn't even launched yet. I don't put up with sloppiness. LOYALTY."
In response, Ora tweeted, "Rob's dick was wack, I had to go get it somewhere else."
Rob then hinted that Ora was, at one point, pregnant with his child. They have since deleted their tweets and have yet to post anything else.
