Whitney Houston has just spoken out about the
Chris Brown incident, urging
Rihanna not to take him back under any circumstances.
It’s common knowledge that Whitney had a pretty volatile relationship with
Bobby Brown for many years, but despite her misfortune in her love life, she doesn’t want Rihanna to make the same mistakes she did.
The National Enquirer reports, “When Whitney heard what had happened to Rihanna, she was close to tears. Right then she knew she had to contact her and urge her to get out of the relationship while she can. She made it clear that Rihanna should dump Chris.”
Whitney also made a public statement saying, “Don’t make the same mistakes I did. Whenever you let your heart rule your head, you are bound to run into trouble.”
Wow. That’s probably the most succinct statement we’ve ever heard Whitney make. She may have been through the ringer, but she seems to know bad relationships when she sees them.
We think this was a really nice gesture for Whitney to reach out to Rihanna like this.
