After spending nearly two weeks in seclusion, Rihanna has not only resurfaced in Los Angeles, her rep also released a statement in regards to her alleged attack.

The statement reads:

"At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown," says the statement from her rep on Friday.

"She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time."

Meanwhile, mediabuffet.com is reporting that TMZ paid $62,500.00 for the leaked photo of a battered and bruised Rihanna. That's double the salary of the person suspected of leaking the picture.

There was also reports that Chris Brown had hired Mel Gibson's publicist Alan Nierob to help him limit the damage he sustained from the media. However, the PR guru has since denied being involved in the case.

Instead, Brown is working with publicist firm Sitrick and Company, which was the same company that released a statement on his behalf earlier this week.
