Numbers don't lie, and clearly
Rihanna got more than just sympathy from her fans.
Sales of Rihanna's 2007 album, Good Girl Gone Bad, surged 33%, selling an additional 25,000 copies in the past week alone, reports
E!
Meanwhile, sales from
Chris Brown's 2007 album, Exclusive, continued on its downward spiral.
Radio stations in the US, Australia, and Barbados have already banned all Chris Brown songs.
"I made the decision to rid the whole station of Chris Brown songs while this plays out," 96.5 KISS FM program director Bo Matthew said recently.
Chris made headlines last weekend when he allegedly
attacked Rihanna during an altercation after the Clive David Grammy party on Saturday night.
He issued a
public apology earlier this week, but it
didn't go over as well as he was hoping.
He has since hired a crisis management team to help him deal with the aftermath of the attack.
