Rihanna Pulled Out of Oscar Performance

Last nights Academy Awards were full of pleasant surprises and jam packed with performances.

While stars like Beyonce, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron did an amazing job entertaining the crowd, the award show was supposed to have a very special surprise guest that had to pull out last minute.

According to the New York Post, Rihanna was supposed to be a performer last night, but pulled out because she wasn't ready to perform live just yet. And do we blame her?

Rihanna has been in hiding since the Clive Davis Pre Grammy party, the night she was allegedly assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown.

While family members insist she's healing and trying to be strong, a leaked photo showing her bloody and bruised said otherwise.
