Rihanna may be a self professed "good girl gone bad" but don't expect to see this singer on the cover of tabs as a party girl. Although she’s got a sexy new haircut, skin tight clothing and a red hot album, she is far from becoming another corrupted young Hollywood star.
Rihanna, who graces the cover of Complex magazine says that she will never end up like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan. "I’m just not the type to get sucked into bullshit. Everyone has control of what they do as an individual. I’m very sure about who I am as a person and what I’m here to do. I’m here in L.A., but I’m still not 'here in L.A.' I come from a very different place, and it gives me an advantage.”
The Barbados native also reveals that not much has changed about her since her last album. The only thing that is changed is her control over her music. “I was in charge, and adamant about working with people like Timbaland. I wanted to work with Ne-Yo because we had great chemistry on the last album—and of course Justin Timberlake”.
To read more about Rihanna and her relationship with her mentor Jay-Z and all those pesky rumors make sure to check out Complex when it hits newsstands nationwide on June 12th. In the meantime check out behind the scenes footage from her shoot and her hot pictures.
