Rihanna was spotted out at Lucky Strike Lanes in New York City earlier this week with a new man by her side, and everyone assumed the two were an item.
Sources told Page Six that Rihanna and Canadian actor-turned rapper Aubrey “Drake” Graham were making out all night, and that they even “were really cute together.”
But it’s all false information. Drake was on New York’s Hot 97 radio station this morning, and while he confirmed he and Rihanna hung out, he denied the dating rumors.
Drake told them, "Nah, nah, nah, It's not like that at all. I'm being honest, man. She's just a friend that's all."
He went on to say, "I have the most utmost respect for her. I think she's so talented."
Well that probably took a lot for Drake to tell the radio station that! He probably wishes he could say the two were dating! But that shows he’s a good guy, and respects Rihanna, and isn’t trying to ride her coattails.
Rihanna needs to stay focused on her career right now anyway. And speaking of, she was honored last night at Island Def Jam’s Spring Collection music preview with a plaque for selling 16 million albums worldwide. Keep up the good work, Rihanna!
