Relatives Not Happy about Chris Brown and Rihanna Reconciliation

Chris Brown and Rihanna's reconciliation this past weekend has stirred up some mixed opinions.

While some people were shocked to learn that Rihanna would give Chris another chance, most people agree that it's a private matter and the public should stay out of their relationship.

When Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty first learned of the reconciliation, he said, “I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I'm behind her win or lose. I will be supportive.

Rihanna may have her fathers support, but her relatives are singing a different tune.

"Everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off," a relative of Rihanna tells People. "No one wants them back together."

"I'm concerned," continues the relative. "I don't want her to make a mistake, and I don't want her to ever go through his again."

The truth of the matter is, no one knows exactly what happened that night. And while we don't condone that kind of behavior, ultimately, it is a private matter. Do you think Rihanna should have given Chris another chance?

When are women eveywhere going to muss up the courage to step away from these types of relationships? It's called "battered wife syndrome"-(even if you're not married)- when one goes back to the abusive person after such a horrible experience...and she did it so fast...not even time to think that this may happen again? She may be a pop star, but she's an idiot for going back to him...people who have "battered wife syndrome" usually have a crappy self-esteem. The fact that her father is not more pro-active with her safety issues because of this is beyond me...

SHE very young and got a lot to learn.People can tell her to leave but since she thinks shes in love she going to stay! Chris told her he was sorry, and it want happen again but he's lying it will and it's going to keep happening!She thinks it means he love her but he needs help becuz he's an abuser! I know I'v been though this situation before and know what the outcome will be! For those of you who say that we don't know what happened, you're right. I'm just tired of this situation. We the public don't know what really happened with those two that night but him and R and R hasn't spoken out about it and we don't know her faults that evening all we seen were some published pics of her on another website which I found to be disrepectful the least. I feel both of them were wrong and both acted out that night and led to one big big problem for the both of them. I say we need to wait and get the full story if we should ever get it. Hitting a woman child or man is wrong.
