First Photos of Rihanna After Altercation

We've heard a lot of different stories and a lot of rumors in regards to the altercation between Rihanna and Chris Brown, but it was all speculation until now.

TMZ has obtained the first photo of Rihanna after the attack--and it's not pretty.

It seems like the reports that she suffered two "huge contusions," which swelled up on both sides of her forehead were true.

Judging by the picture, the rumors of her getting "a bloody lip and nose" were also accurate.

This is just so sad and shocking. We wish Rihanna a speedy recovery and all the strength in the world to get through this tough time.

UPDATE: The LAPD just released this statement in regards to the unauthorized release of the photograph. Looks like someone's getting fired tomorrow morning!

Of course that is her! You can tell it is, and you can clearly see the tattoo on her shoulder! He is an absolute animal for what he's done and deserves to be put in jail for a long time. There is NO excuse!

there is no excuse for such a crime not ony was it heartess its an inexcusable action. It makes him a coward for even laiying a harmfull hand on her or any women he may encounter in the future. I hope that hes locked tight in jail. In my opinion chris brown is uninteligent and has no honor.

I cannot explain with words the way a woman feels after the person you love beats you up like they completely have no feelings towards you... It's not her fault whether she started the argument or not... As a woman I think that all women and REAL MEN should be supporting her to start a new beggining... It's not mentally healthy to stay with a person who hurt you that badly but I think it's OK to Forgive but never FORGET. I really hope she's recovering physically, mentally and although her heart and feelings may take a little longer to heal, with the right advice and her family and close friends who care about her she'll be doing well soon. Hope Chris Brown asks for forgiveness not to his fans or paparazzi but to the person he hurt most.

I feel sorry for both of them equally because it's been my experience with the media and the court system that the whole story is seldom told accurately in the media before an accusation is thoroughly investigated, testified under oath, and crossed-examined by lawyers. Only then can anyone fairly judge who to blame.
