Two Los Angeles cops have finally been suspended over the leaking of the notorious photo showing a battered and bruised Rihanna following her altercation with her ex Chris Brown.

Police started investigating the leak back in February and they finally narrowed it down to two female cops, one based at the Wilshire Area Station, and another at Hollenback Area.

Internal affairs officers have searched their homes, offices, and lockers as part of the probe, according to The Enterprise Report website.

The two cops now face disciplinary action and a possible charge of identifying a victim of domestic violence if their involvement in the leak is proved.

It's so sad that they would jeopardize their career for a quick buck. According to reports, TMZ paid $62,500 for the photo. The cops will remain suspended until the investigation is complete. So much for LAPD being there to "protect and serve."

Are they the same one who leaked the Michael Jackson photo as he was wheeled into an ambulance? That is just so wrong and shameful.

I hope they fry those cops. It's not all about the pics being released, it's more about the fact that they were paid $62,500 for them. That is equal to bribery, those cops violated their oath as officers and should pay the penalty for that crime.
