It’s been nearly four years since Chris Brown famously got into a fist-to-face fight with Rihanna, but the pop star says he’s still struggling to regain everyone’s respect and work on becoming a better person.
Specifically he said, “All I can do is try to be better as a person, and I’m good with knowing everything isn’t always going to be perfect.”
Chris is being profiled in a new MTV special, “This Is How I Made It” and talks about his uphill battle to repair his image, post Rihanna beat down.
“Having to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back…it’s not all the way back, you know? But it’s one of my most humbling experiences. I can’t hate people for making judgment on me or making a decision of liking me or not liking me.”
One person who Chris managed to regain their trust: Rihanna.
The state of their “friendship” has been hotly debated, but we reported that Rihanna was spotted giving Chris a lap dance at her Halloween party on Wednesday night.
Nothing says “I forgive you” like a good lap grinding.
Despite Chris’ claims of working towards being a better person, he dressed up on Halloween as a member of the Taliban.
Well, maybe his “better person” appearance will start AFTER Halloween.
What do you think, Hollyscoopers? Has Chris Brown made good on his promise to get better, or is he still struggling to gain your favor?
