Celebs and Their Grills
Rihanna recently stepped out wearing a gold grill in LA. For those of you unfamiliar with “urban” culture, a grill is like a bunch of gold teeth. Rihanna wore the mouthpiece out to dinner, which seems like the most difficult way to get through a dinner, but whatever.

Some said Rihanna wore the grill as a shout-out to Chris Brown, who wore a grill two months ago at a fan meet and greet in NY. Chris looked like a straight hooligan and some say Rihanna was trying to send him a sign by wearing her own grill last week. Those that grill together stay together?

The most famous grill probably belongs to Paul Wall, who is a rapper, but honestly has found more success designing grills. He is not-surprisingly responsible for the song “Grillz” with Nelly.

Paul actually designed the American Flag grill that Ryan Lochte wore when he accepted his gold medal for the men’s individual 400-meter individual medley. Lochte also wore the grill at the 2008 games, and at the time said, “I wear it when I go on the podium. It’s just a unique way of showing personality out to everyone.”

Kim Kardashian even once wore a glittery gold grill. This was probably during her “I date athletes” phase. I doubt Kanye would let him woman out of the house with one of those on.

Nearly 3 years ago, Lady Gaga tweeted out a photo of herself wearing vampire grills. Woah.

Someone who rocks a grill 24/7 is Lil Wayne. Oh what’s that? That’s just the way his teeth look? Oh, ok. So Weezy's teeth are basically all capped in gold, but the guy has been known to wear a variety of gold and silver plated grills.

Mike Jones, just like Paul Wall, is known for his grills more than his rap career. I can’t even name any of his songs but could probably identify his grills on impact. That’s a lie. But still, what is he famous for besides his teeth?
