He told Extra: “Adoption is beautiful – give it a try. Even though I started with surrogacy, adoption is probably my next step.”
Ricky admits he's looking forward to Christmas with his kids, but they are still too young to really appreciate what it is all about.
He added, “Now it’s not about me, it’s about my children. The holidays are for them. I guess I’ll get up early in the morning – they’re only two years old so I’m teaching them what the holidays are all about. This is really their first Christmas so let’s wait and see."
And it's not just Christmas he's celebrating, he turns 39 on Christmas Eve. When asked if he would prefer his birthday not to be so close to Christmas he said: No I don’t think about that I’ve been very lucky. I just want my children to be happy and to be healthy. And I guess that’s my wish."
Awe he's just so perfect, how can anyone not love Ricky?! I'm ready to be adopted Ricky darling!

Ricky Martin, Elton John, Idina Menzel, Rachel Harris and Wanda Sykes are the latest stars to speak out against against hate crimes based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
"It’s time to give a damn because hate crimes involve beatings, rape, torture—even murder. Victims are targeted because of their sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religion, race, color or any number of superficial factors. According to FBI statistics, 1 out of every 6 hate crimes is committed on the basis of sexual orientation."

Ricky got tons of emails, messages and calls after he finally came out of the closet, and he couldn't be more thrilled about all the love and support he's getting.

"What's going on gang? I'm doing great! Stronger than ever! I'm here relaxing @ home enjoying ur messages! I feel the love! Thanx for all! Peace," he tweeted on Tuesday.
On Monday Ricky posted a blog on his website confirming the worlds worst kept secret--that he's gay.

"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am," he wrote.
And we're proud he's finally embracing who he is. You have our support Ricky!
"Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment ... These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed."
He ends his post with, "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."
Earlier this month during Barbara Walters final Oscar special she admitted that one interview she most regretted in her lifetime was outing Ricky Martin.

In the past Ricky stated he was in love with Mexican TV host Rebecca de Alba. They dated on and off for over 14 years. They even talked of starting a family together. In December 2008 Ricky became a father to twin boys via a surrogate.
It's about time he came out. We've all known for years. Congrats to Ricky for finally embracing who he is!

She’s certainly spoken with quite a lot of celebrities, and there are some interviews Barbara wishes she could do-over. Looking back on Barbara's long career, she's had the ability to make or break people in the public eye. And one interview she regrets is the infamous Ricky Martin one back in 2000.
She tells the Toronto Star, "In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was," she says now.
"A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now I feel it was an inappropriate question."

When the magazine asked about his sexuality once again, Ricky said that while he can still have fun with the ladies, he can bat for both teams.
In the interview, the 37-year-old revealed "his heart could belong to a woman or a man."
Hmm...sounds like the world’s worst kept secret is out of the bag. A straight guy would never hint that he could potentially have love affairs with men. What are your thoughts?
The magazine traveled to Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Mexico to shoot all 50 beautiful people, keeping three themes in mind: natural beauty, new generation, and Hollywood classics.
The issue features Eva Longoria channeling her inner Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Eva recalled a funny story about the Tifanny’s in New York City, telling the mag, “They opened the store for us (her and Tony Parker) so we could choose the dinnerware for the wedding and they had breakfast for us.” Now that’s when you know you’re A-list!
Other themes included Ricky Martin as Marlon Brando in A Streetcar Called Desire, and Ugly Betty’s Freddy Rodriguez as famed film producer Howard Hughes.
16-year old Selena Gomez made the cut, and told the magazine that she was named after singing legend Selena Quintanilla. She says, “I’m just trying to be the best Selena I can be.”
