While he has threatened to quit his Golden Globe hosting duties after his first, second and third hosting stints, Ricky Gervais says he means it this time.

Even though his Sunday night hosting duties at the Golden Globes seemed to go over well (so well, I heard Kim Kardashian loved your jokes! The seal of approval, obviously!) Ricky says he will never do it again.

Writing on his blog, he instructed his agent to never let him agree to host it again.
Last night’s 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards was everything an awards show should be. There was a heartfelt tribute, a slew of awkward moments, an entertaining host. You really couldn’t ask for much more. Okay, maybe it could’ve done without Felicity Huffman and William H Macy’s duet.

Hollyscoop has rounded up the highlights and lowlights of the night, and we now bring you, the best and worst moments from the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

‘Worst’ Joke: It wasn’t bad, but it was naughty. Ricky Gervais pointed out Jodie Foster’s ‘Beaver’, and he wasn’t talking about the movie.
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
We were all looking forward to hearing what Ricky Gervais had to say about the world of entertainment at this year’s 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

While Ricky started off strong, he eased up on the celebs this year. Nothing about Ashton’s cheating. Nothing about George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s bromance. And not even one mention of Charlie Sheen’s massive meltdown.

So what did the celebs think? Hollyscoop caught up with the stars on the red carpet to see what they thought of Ricky Gervais’ hosting at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
Jodie Foster, who is pretty much gay, but just isn’t open about it, got dragged out of the closet by Ricky Gervais at the Golden Globes last night.

Assuming you have anything to hide about your personal life or your films, you should stay far far away from Ricky Gervais. While Ricky was pretty tame for most of the evening, he basically outted Foster as a lesbian.

During a monologue he read a list of things he was told not to do, including he couldn’t say anything about Mel Gibson especially not talk about his recent movie “The Beaver” which was directed by Jodie Foster.

Ricky Gervais just closed up the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards, and while he did manage to offend a slew of celebrities, he still took it down a notch. Gervais was edgy, but didn’t go over the edge. Probably because the Hollywood Foreign Press limited his time onstage. Seriously. I think we saw more cutaways to George Clooney.

Some highlights include: George Clooney having a broment with his bestie, Brad Pitt

Ricky Gervais started the evening off with: "So…where was I?," addressing his controversial hosting duties at last year's Golden Globe Awards.

When Gervais was invited back to the Golden Globes this year, we were all waiting to see who he'd insult. Surprisingly, Ricky took the insults down a notch. While he started off strong, insulting Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Eddie Murphy, and Adam Sandler, Gervais didn't let as loose this year as he did at last year's Golden Globe Awards.
Ricky Gervais mentioned to insult the Hollywood Foreign Press, Jodie Foster, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler within the first ten minutes of the Golden Globes.

Something tells me this year's Golden Globes could be even better than last year's.
Ricky Gervais returned to the stage to remind Golden Globe Winners to cut their speeches short, telling them they don’t need to thank everyone.

Boss star Kelsey Grammer won for Best Actor in a TV Drama Series, beating out Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad and Steve Buscemi for Boardwalk Empire. Steve Buscemi looked a little depressed about it, but then again, it's Steve Buscemi.

In his acceptance speech, Kelsey thanked his controversial younger wife, Kayte Walsh. A cloud of awkwardness fell over the crowd. They must be Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans.

Jimmy Fallon and Adam Levine presented the award for Best Original Score. Jimmy claimed he had "moves like Jagger." And at Mick Jagger's age, I can only imagine that means Jimmy Fallon urinates on himself periodically.

Tonight will be Ricky Gervais' third time to host the Golden Globes, and after his infamous hosting duties last year, Gervais has many celebs on edge. Will he force them out of the closet? Will he criticize their fine lines and wrinkles? Will he bring up a past drug problem?

God I hope so.

Gervais is about to take the stage at the 69th annual Golden Globes. Hollyscoop caught up with the stars at the Art of Elysium Heaven Gala to see what they think of Ricky's return.

And that should make you want to watch it even more.

Ricky Gervais, who hurt nearly every celebrity’s feelings at the 68th Annual Golden Globes, says he agreed to return because he knew it’d irritate people. This Sunday’s awards show will be the third time Gervais has hosted the Golden Globes.

"The reason I said yes the first time was because I was very flattered,” Gervais said. “It was a huge global audience for a comedian. I like writing jokes. That's what I do. The reason I did it the second time was I thought I could improve on the first...
