Did you know they were back together? Well, they were and now they aren’t. Denise Richards and Richie dated for a year after Denise Richards split with Charlie Sheen. They broke up in 2007, rekindled their relationship in November and now have already called it quits.

How does Denise Richards stay lawfully married to Charlie ”Crazy” Sheen for five whole years, but can’t make it work with Richie “Normal” Sambora for a couple months? Someone needs to talk to that woman about priorities.

Denise Richards looked Girl Code in the face, spat in it, and started banging Richie Sambora. He's in a band, people.

After her BFF, Heather Locklear, divorced her Bon Jovi rocker husband, Richie Sambora, Denise Richards decided to take him for a spin. Well, she ended up driving him off the lot, taking him home and parking him in her garage. Richards first dated Sambora from 2006 to 2007 after she split from Charlie Sheen. And of course, she was accused of stealing her best friend's man. But Denise stands by the claim that she "[dated] a former friend's husband, [but did not] break up a marriage."

These rock stars are all dropping like flies. Richie Sambora is the latest star to check into rehab.

He’s being treated for “exhaustion” and to regain his sobriety, reports Radaronline.

”Richie recently has been drinking too much, and wants to get his life together," a source told RadarOnline, adding that the band has been very supportive of the rehab decision.

"Richie has had a busy year," a close friend of the musician told Radar. "I think this was a culmination of all the things that overloaded his life and finally he realized he needed to take care of himself.”

Bon Jovi is scheduled to perform this month as part of their tour and move onto Europe in June. Guess they’ll either be one man short or it’ll be another lame attempt at rehab.

This isn’t his first attempt at rehab either. He checked himself in on June 7th, 2007.

Richie Sambora may be a rockstar, but he also prides himself on being a strict parent.

Hollyscoop talked EXCLUSIVELY to Sambora at his White Trash Beautiful Spring 2011 fashion show at Sunset Gower Studios, which also featured Report Signature shoes, and he told us about working with his daughter Ava, but keeping her on the straight and narrow at the same time.

“It’s so much fun,” Sambora said of working with Ava, who is one of WTB’s models. “I did a photo shoot with her a few years ago. I just said to the photographer, “Can you take some pictures for me, for my house of my daughter?’ And she went ‘Dad can I model?’

“The only modeling she has really done has been at my shows. That is where we are right now--her priorities are schoolwork and also I believe in maintaining the innocence of children. Before that when she is 18 or 19 she is going to do what she wants to do and I’m going to support her and help her through it.”

Sambora admitted to us that living out of Hollywood in Calabasas (home to celeb family the Kardashians) makes it easier to raise Ava. “I’m a very hands-on dad,” Richie admitted. “I have a relationship with my daughter where I talk to her just as I’m talking to you right now. I set up boundaries and I’m pretty strict.”

And that means discouraging his daughter from following in his rockstar footsteps! I wouldn’t encourage [her getting into acting or muic] because both businesses are fledgling at the moment,” he pointed out.

“The record business is trying to find its way through the muck and mire of people sharing music and stealing music. The acting business is fledgling because of the reality shows there is less opportunities for both of those occupations. I wouldn’t encourage it, she has to finish school, that is what she has to do; she knows it and agrees with me.”

Richie’s advice for Ava? “Be very afraid and work very hard at your craft,” he said. “There’s so many people trying to get in…It’s getting harder and harder all over, in every industry in every business.”

He’s got that right! We love seeing this other side to Richie Sambora—who knew a rockstar would turn into such a strict dad?!

Rocker Richie Sambora made a rare cameo last night as a special presenter at the 2008 American Music Awards and Hollyscoop got a chance to catch up with him!

Speaking about the event, Sambora said: “I am having such a good time walking around talking to all my old friends, cause people have the misconception that we see each other all the time and we never get a chance to see each other all the time.”

In regards to the rumors that his ex-wife Heather Locklear might get a gig on Melrose Place Samboro said, “Yes I think she should. What would it be without her?” He added, “I love Melrose place, I always loved it.”

Samboro, who attended the show with his daughter Ava, also confessed that he is still in close contact with Locklear. “We're spending Thanksgiving together, everything is really cool.” In regards to how his ex-wife is doing following her DUI stint, Samboro said, “She's doing fantastic, she's doing good.”

Hollyscoop also caught up with Locklear’s "Flying By" co-star Billy Ray Cyrus. When asked what it was like working with Locklear, Cyrus gushed, “She's amazing. She's fantastic.” We couldn't agree more.
Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear may be exes, but he's determined to help her through this tough time. Close friends of the two say they stay connected through their daughter, whom Richie is very close with.

Richie is in England until July, and then he returns home. Friends say he wants to be there for his daughter Ava, and he would do anything for Heather if she needed it. We hope to see Heather doing better soon!
After the success of "The Hills," we've all learned that reality shows are anything but reality--and Denise Richards' show "It's Complicated," is no different.

Throughout the series Denise repeatedly claims that she's no husband stealer and that her and Richie Sambora hooked up months after he split from her then BFF Heather Locklear. Turns out she's just a big fat liar.

"Heather has phone records that prove Denise was calling Richie while Heather was still married to him," reports the NY Post. "Heather was such a good friend to Denise. She gave Denise clothes and offered her a shoulder to cry on when she and [now ex-husband] Charlie [Sheen] split up - there are even photos in the press of Heather taking Denise out after she and Charlie split. And then a few weeks later - not months - Denise starts dating Richie.

"For Denise to claim that not only did she not initiate contact with Richie but that she and Heather weren't friends for three months before she took up with him, well, that's just absurd and an outright lie.

"Denise also claims she's still friends with Richie - which is not true. He doesn't speak to her at all."

What goes around comes around--here's to hoping Karma bites her in the a** real soon.
Richie Sambora is offering David Beckham some guitar lessons. He's a huge fan of Becks (yeah, get in line) and has publicly made it clear that he can call at any time for one-on-one lessons.

Richie says he's so impressed with what David has done for the game of soccer in the U.S. and wants to repay him. Knowing David, he'd probably rock!
Richie Sambora was just charged with two counts of DUI. Richie got off easy because there were talks that he was also going to be charged with child endangerment because his 10-year-old daughter was in the car while he was driving drunk.

TMZ is reporting that Sambora had a blood alcohol level of .13 and if he is convicted he will will spend six months in jail. Reality is that he will probably get off with probation.
Things just went from bad to worse for Richie Sambora. The Laguna Beach Police Department has requested two misdemeanor counts against Sambora--one for driving under the influence and one for child endangerment.

Sambora was popped for a DUI on March 25 after cops noticed him driving "erratically." His daughter Ava was in the car with him at the time, which was a big NO NO!

"Assuming Sambora was driving with over a .08 blood-alcohol level with a passenger under 14 in the car, he's looking at probable jail time," says veteran DUI lawyer Lawrence Taylor, who's not involved with the case. "But it's possible this can be plea bargained to a lesser offense, and/or he could get rehab in lieu of jail."

Sambora is scheduled to appear in court on May 7. He'll probably be ordered back in rehab, we hear third time is the charm.
