Repo! The Genetic Opera

Repo! The Genetic Opera is a 2008 rock opera-musical film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and starring Paris Hilton. The movie, which has been slated to be the new "Rocky Horror Picture Show," debuted this past weekend in Las Vegas, and Hollyscoop was on the red carpet getting you guys the scoop.

So what's the rock opera about? A worldwide epidemic encourages a biotech company to launch an organ-financing program similar in nature to a standard car loan. The repossession clause is a killer, however.

"It's 100% different. That's why I'm so excited to do it. Its not Saw II, III, or IV. It's not Sweeney Todd. It's not Rocky Horror. It's something completely different, that’s why I love it," said director Darren Lynn Bousman.

"When he [Darren] asked me to be in this movie, I was very excited. It's such an interesting film. It's so different, so unique," Paris tells Hollyscoop. "All the movies out today are so the same, you always know what’s going to happen and with this movie, it's like nothing you've ever seen."
