Actress Renee Zellweger has spoken out about her fears of being stalked. The famous actress addresses the downsides of fame and how she gets freaked out by fans that turn up at her deserted 40-acre home in the middle of the night.
The Oscar winning actress revealed, "It's scary if there is a car idling outside your home in the middle of the woods at four in the morning. And as a girl your instincts are to be scared. Your adrenaline rushes and you realize you can't live there. It's sad, but that's how it works. It's just a job hazard."
Renee said the situations have become so intense that she has even thought about buying a gun. "I don't want to own one, but at four in the morning with a car outside, I think about it."
The blonde beauty confessed that stalkers forced her to move around a lot, "It's a weird life. And I know it's a flattering thing when you get those letters, but I get them all the time."
Renee was so freaked out that her security company gave her a 24-hour bodyguard while filming the thriller "Case 39" in Vancouver two months ago. Renee explained, "It depends on whether there's been an incident or if there's a person of concern in the area. It can be pretty scary when that letter is slipped under your door. It's also kind of creepy."
