Richie Sambora Enters Rehab

Drugs

Rehab is the new black! Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora entered an undisclosed treatment facility on Wednesday, a rep for the band tells People magazine.

"Richie Sambora has entered an undisclosed treatment facility in Los Angeles," the rep said in a statement. "He asks that you respect he and his family's privacy at this time."

Wonder what he went to rehab for? Alcohol? Drugs? Pills? What do you guys think?

Whatever it is, it is none of OUR business. The man has had a rough year, give him a break. Get well Richie, your fans are supporting you. Be healthy and be happy.

Im very upset and offended as a fan due to lack of commitment and responsibility portrayed on R. Sambora behalf. Besides i was pumped to see him live and it seems i can not look forward to this in some while. With this statement i not only mean professionally but also as a person. This is due to the fact that Bon jovi shall preform a concert in Puerto Rico tomorrow June 8 2007 & from the get go this concert was a mess due to the change in event then venue and to place the cherry on the cake the lead guitarist and back vocals better known as Jon's better half on stage has recluted himself to rehab. I care for his health but i am mainly upset at the lack of responsibility he owes not only his fans but also his band mates. I am disgraced and saddened with this situation therefor i feel i can no longer see him in the same light.

Voice of Reason
Would you rather he show up in Puerto Rico so you could complain about a poor performance on stage? Would you rather his health suffer? Would you prefer he check in with you first to make sure that you're OK with him stepping off a soapbox so that he can focus on doing the best thing for himself? You can't be offended as a fan - you can be disappointed that you won't see him in concert. But you can only look at him in a "different light" if you had previously chosen to look at him as something more than a human like the rest of us.

I completely agree with You Karina. I am a Huge BonJovi Fan.and Consider Richie as one of my Heros. I have been wacthing through a fans eye for months wacthing what this man has gone though, and im sure I am not the only one.I have been appalled not only as a fan but as a human to see how people are acting towards Richie. he might be famous but he is still a person a real person with feelings and emotions like everyone else the only difference is that his life is all over the papers, I am glad that he has realized his problem before it was to late. and for a so called "fan" of his to be mad that they wont see him in concert Becuase he wanted to take his life and make it better and get help was the finale straw for me. I know you must be upset Sherri but you have no reason to be offended or look at him in another light. would u rather he not get help?. would u rather he keep drinking? keep being depressed. and than what one day it wil be to much for him and he could harm himself or some one else. or would you rather he get help, get healthy get his life in check and than come back better than ever. isnt he intitled to a life? better than what he has been going through now. if anything I respect him even more for takeing this step in his life. he has a little girl who is only 9 im sure he wants to be around to see her grow up and have her dad around. I hope to god no one who is making fun of this or is mad at him for doing this never has to go through a addiction or have a problem with Depression. becuase than you will see what its really like to be in someone else's shoes. and I hope u would have the support form the people who love you. as for Richie I wish him othing but the best. I wish him a Full recovery and he get back on Stage Kicking ass like he has been for years and just be happy again. Love you Richie My Prayers are with you...I also think that people should Respect Him more and not beleive every Rumor you hear I have never believe he cheated on heather. un til he says it I dont believe anything the papers say and you all shouldnt either.

Going to rehab in CA gets top news and everyone here goes at one time or another. Superstar or not. Richies a babe and awesome guitarist, gets involved with the wrong women. I still love him and I wish him the best on getting clean and staying away from the Hollywood girls. He's too good for that mess.

it's not drugs, it's booze. He has had it hard for a while, with a divorce, breaking up with Denise Richards, and his dad dieing of lung cancer. It is not drugs, see drycounty.com/jovitalk.

My guess is alcahol. I grew up around it and that would explain the weight gain. Richie hasn't looked healthy for awhile. I wish him luck. He has a young daughter and I hope that the whole family is involved in his recovery. It does effect everyone.

1stly, I'm sorry to hear that his father passed over. Secondly i am having medical treatment at the moment for my beliefs towards God and this day n age. both of which are battling through me. I empathise with the guy. He's got a fuckin massave soul and its loud an it cares and everyone who knows him should be more concerned as to what to do to help and this could be as simple as letting the man BREATHE!!!!!!!!!!!!
