Friends are finally talking about Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal. A lot of people say that Reese didn’t see this one coming, especially after her painful split from Ryan Phillippe, but can assure us that the relationship is real.
The two met on the set of their latest flick "Rendition" when Jake introduced himself to Reese. From there on one source says, "their little flirtation" just took off. "Things slowly progressed, but it was never something she thought would happen from the start. She just kind of developed this little crush over time."
The duo have been spending a lot of time together, most recently at Il Sole restaurant in LA where the couple were spotted canoodling, as well as in NYC at La Ripaille near Gyllenhaal's apartment.
The reason people think these two make a great couple is because they are both family oriented as one pal says, "Jake finds it attractive that she's such a great mom. He really loves kids and wants a family."
They both also enjoy having a private life outside of the Hollywood hoopla. But if they go public with their relationship they can say goodbye to their private life and hello to a new entourage of paparazzi’s.
